EverFocus’ surveillance equipment to star in Security Essen 2010
The new 16-channel D1 real-time digital video recorder "Paragon 264x4"
From 5 - 8 October 2010, Security Essen 2010 will take place in Germany. The latest EverFocus CCTV product developments will be presented on stand 215 in hall 2.0.

The new 16-channel D1 real-time digital video recorder "Paragon 264x4" incorporates the latest H.264 compression technology and offers D1 real-time recording and playback for all cameras. Paragon 264x4 is equipped with 3 main monitor outputs (VGA, BNC and HDMI) and one call monitor output, while either the HDMI video output with full HD resolution (1080p) or the VGA BNC output (simultaneous view) may be assigned as main monitor output respectively.

Main features include pentaplex operation for simultaneous recording, playback, archiving, live view and network access, pre-alarm buffer, extended schedule setting including holiday calendar and express schedule functionality and audio recording for all 16 channels. Data archiving is effected through either USB 2.0 port, network or built-in DVD-RW drive (optional). Paragon 264x4 further offers fast network video transmission with dual stream for mobile phone streaming and numerous playback search functions including Smart Search and snapshot search function. Naturally, the DVR also incorporates programmable motion detection, event notification including e-mail alarm and network alarm functions, local and network PTZ control and the free EverFocus DDNS service enabling users to register their DDNS account directly form the DVR setup.

The latest EverFocus NeVio IP products will also be presented during Security Essen. The innovative and high-performing day/night NeVio IP speed dome camera EPN 3600 with 36x optical zoom features H.264/MPEG4/MJPEG compression with up to 25 fps digital output at 4CIF resolution. With triple-streaming output, EPN 3600 offers simultaneous live monitoring and high resolution recording as well as built-in network connectivity. The EPN series is engineered with an intelligent auto-tracking function to detect any progressively moving object and follow it within the speed dome's area of coverage. Auto-tracking also features exclusive masking, pan/tilt limits and flexible resume functions. EPN 3600 further provides Wide Dynamic Range for extreme lighting conditions and is available as outdoor and indoor model.

The NeVio IP product range demonstrated during Security 2010 further includes the latest camera developments from the NeVio HD product family. All NeVio HD cameras are equipped with a 2.0 megapixel full size HD CMOS image sensor with full 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution, H.264 encoding and decoding at real-time HD resolution up to 1080p at 25 fps and digital video stabilisation function. The built-in SDHC slot enables local image storage through an optional SDHC card. Day/night switching is controlled by the automatically swivelling IR cut filter.

Further features include 3-zone motion detection, bidirectional audio function and the integrated player for playback of SD card recordings. The 2.0 megapixel NeVio HD camera series currently covers four different camera types - a box type camera (EAN 3200) with C/CS mount (suitable megapixel lens optionally available), a vandal-proof IP66 outdoor dome type camera (EHN 3200), an indoor dome type camera (EDN 3240) and an IP66 outdoor bullet type camera with motorised varifocal lens (EZN 3240); the latter two models include IR LED for a recommended object distance of approximately 20 metres.

As a major show highlight, EverFocus will launch their groundbreaking HD CCTV surveillance system which uses the latest High Definition Serial Digital Interface (HD-SDI) technology, delivering real-time 1080i HD resolution images over standard RG59 coaxial cable.

The EverFocus EQH 5200 is a 2.0 megapixel camera using a 1/2.5" CMOS sensor to deliver a choice of HD CCTV resolutions (720p/1080i). Designed for indoor use, the EQH 5200 has a compact box design and offers day/night functionality. Setup is simple with an RCA TV output for installation use and an on-screen setup menu. The camera is simply connected to a coaxial cable network using a standard BNC connector.

With 8 BNC video inputs for coaxial connections, the 8-channel true HD CCTV digital video recorder, Paragon HD offers 720p/1080p HD resolution recording using H.264 compression, with 4 hard disk slots offering a current maximum internal data storage capacity of 8 terabytes. Video output can be via VGA or HDMI. The Paragon HD makes video viewing, recording and searching simple and incorporates Express Search, Snapshot and Smart Search functionality, with 3 USB ports and a built-in DVD burner for quick video file transfer. The DVR also includes a Gigabit Ethernet interface for remote network viewing and management, plus support for 3GPP mobile monitoring.
