ISNR is one of the key milestones on the calendar of events in safety and security in the MENA region
The Organizing Committee of the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014), the integrated platform that addresses security issues under one umbrella, recently announced the event will host an ‘International Conference on Security Challenges (ICSC)’ on 31 March, 2014, in Abu Dhabi.

ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014, organized by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Reed Exhibitions, is scheduled to run from 1-3 April, 2014. The event will bring together representatives of government bodies, exhibitors and buyers of integrated security and safety solutions from sectors such as oil and gas, ports, airports, and banks.

ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014, which is anticipated to be the most integrated edition of the exhibition to date, will feature specialized pavilions, including Homeland Security and National Resilience by ISNR, Information Security by ISNR, Critical Infrastructure Protection by ISNR, in addition to two collocated events Fire & Emergency Middle East and Occupational Safety and Health Middle East.

His Excellency Major General Dr Obaid Al Ketbi, Deputy Commanding General of Abu Dhabi Police, and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014, said: "We are keen to address all security issues under one umbrella. We expect the event to attract renowned experts and decision makers from the public and private sectors in the region. The huge uptake for the event emphatically reflects Abu Dhabi's growing status in security and national resilience.

Frederick Tu, Head of Reed Exhibitions Middle East, said: “ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 will spread across 23,500 square meters that translates into a 40 per cent increase in area from the last edition. The exhibition is expected to attract about 400 exhibitors from over 25 countries and 15,000 visitors, including recognized specialists from the global security and risk response sector. We are glad to contribute to such a vital sector of the global economy.”

Homeland Security and National Resilience Pavilion by ISNR will focus on key security challenges in the Middle East, and showcase a full range of integrated solutions in resilience that combine the best techniques for the detection, prevention, protection, response and recovery from threats and disasters, whether caused by natural or human causes.

Information Security by ISNR, which has the endorsement of Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) in the UAE and InfoSec Europe, the most prominent event in Europe specialized in information security, is a new platform that will bring together global expertise in data protection to the MENA region. The event will showcase the latest developments and ideas to safeguard the future of business information.

The newest addition to ISNR Abu Dhabi, the Critical Infrastructure Protection Pavilion is endorsed by the International Security Conference and Exhibition (ISC West), the world's leading event for infrastructure security solutions held in Las Vegas. The pavilion that will highlight the latest specialized technologies and trends in the protection of infrastructure is set to attract top industry leaders and decision-makers for the exchange of knowledge and best practices to enhance business performance.

Fire & Emergency Middle East is dedicated to the regional public and private emergency industry and will attract the attendance of consultants and decision-makers in facilities, ports and critical infrastructure management, government agencies, municipalities and the army. This event will serve as a gateway to the latest technologies in fire fighting, protection, emergency medical services, fire response and public safety.

Occupational Safety and Health Middle East held in strategic collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Environment, Health and Safety Center will focus on promoting a culture of security and offer the latest tools that help in the identification of potential risks. The exhibition will also feature a series of workshops to map the future of the industry.
