This year’s recognition marks the second consecutive Accolades Award for an iCLASS SE platform solution

HID Global, a worldwide leader in secure identity solutions, recently announced that its new iCLASS SE Encoder  has been selected by the ASIS International organization as a winner in the 2013 ASIS Accolades Security’s Best competition, which recognizes the industry’s most innovative new technologies, products and services. Judges representing a cross-sector of end-users and technology experts recognized HID Global’s new credential encoding solution as one of the most innovative new solutions for 2013. This year’s recognition marks the second consecutive Accolades Award for an iCLASS SE platform solution.

“As a key enabling component of our award-winning iCLASS SE platform, the iCLASS SE Encoder empowers our customers to personalize credentials and manage encryption keys locally and on demand. The multi-technology credential support ensures customer choice and a security model suited to their needs,” said Selva Selvaratnam, senior vice president and chief technology officer with HID Global. “This accolade is further validation of our ongoing commitment to innovation, and HID Global is honored to have our new credential encoding solution acknowledged by one of the most respected organizations in the security industry.”

The encoder allows organizations to format a wide range of credential technologies, supporting iCLASS Seos, iCLASS SE, standard iCLASS, MIFARE Classic, and MIFARE DESFire EV1. The solution also supports 125 MHz HID Prox for encoding Prox credentials and migrating from HID Prox to high frequency technologies.

HID Global is demonstrating the iCLASS SE Encoder along with its extensive suite of technologies, products, solutions and services at ASIS in booth #329 at McCormick Place, South Hall from September 24-26, 2013.
