ESI have launched the latest product integration for the provision of video analytics to the M1/V1 open protocol central station monitoring platform.

Foxstream is a specialized provider of real time video content analysis technologies. Exploiting the latest technologies available, FoxProtect has been developed in association with the laboratory LIRIS member of the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).

FoxProtect analyses in real time the video streams from cameras, encoders and DVRs in order to extract all relevant information for the operator. The driver Foxstream_V1 has been developed with communication between ESI's V1 server and FoxProtect allowing V1 Client to connect to the live video stream within the OSD (On Screen Display) defining the objects in alarm. An alarm is also sent from the Foxstream application for all events requiring specific attention, and a video sequence of the event is stored and available when required by the operator.

Functionality such as alarm monitoring from the Foxstream server onsite, live connection with OSD and alarm video sequence playback are available with the V1 standard interface.
