Security products manufacturing company Altronix’s President Alan Forman to receive Humanitarian Award
Mr Forman makes an important contribution through his involvemen with numerous charitable organizations
Mission 500, a non-profit initiative focusing on the security industry and dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis, announced that Alan Forman will receive the charity's first annual "Mission 500 Humanitarian Award." The Award will be presented to Mr. Forman, President of Altronix, at a special cocktail reception on March 25th, during ISC West in Las Vegas.

"Alan is well worthy of this honor," said George Fletcher, Advisory Council Member/Volunteer, Mission 500. "He has given of himself in a number of charitable causes by committing his time, rallying others to get involved, generating financial contributions and making everyone around him feel special."

The purpose of the Mission 500 Humanitarian Award is to honor individuals in the security industry who make important contributions to those in need. According to Mission 500, Mr. Forman exemplifies this through his involvement with numerous charitable organizations, as well as serving on the advisory boards of Gift of Life International and Mission 500, and as the New York Metro Chapter President for the American Technion Society. In 2005, Mr. Forman was inducted into the Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame, and in 2009 he was the recipient of the George Lippert Memorial Award for his commitment to professionalism and advancement of the professional security industry.

The purpose of the Mission 500 Humanitarian Award is to honor individuals in the security industry who make important contributions to those in need.

The Mission 500 Cocktail Reception will be held at 5:15 pm on March 25th at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre Room 303, and those interested in attending should stop by the Mission 500 booth, located at the main entrance to the Expo Hall, for a personal invitation.

Mission 500 is also hosting a 5K charity run at ISC West on March 25th, 2010. The Security 5K/Mission 500 Charity Run is the first charity-driven event at an ISC Expo conceived to engage corporate sponsors as well as individuals within the industry. Runners can register for the race on-site on March 24th at the Mission 500 booth, located at the main entrance to the Expo Hall or by registering online. A nominal entry fee of $30.00 will go directly to the charity.

The Security 5K/Mission 500 Race at the 2010 ISC West Expo in Las Vegas is a joint collaboration between United Publications, publishers of Security Systems News and Security Director News; Reed Exhibitions/ISC Expos; and Mission 500. Charter sponsors are Altronix Corporation, AXIS Communications, Deister Electronics, HID, LRG Marketing Communications, Morse Watchmans and Safety Technology International, Inc.
