Despite its small dimensions – only 222 mm wide, 88 mm high and 285 mm deep – and excepting its 4 channel capacity limitation, the M-DMS 4 Bank lacks for nothing in comparison with its bigger brothers in the Dallmeier product range.  Like them it boasts all the well-known functions such as the SEDOR-based camera sabotage recognition, triplex operation and system diagnostics.

The M-DMS 4 Bank represents a compact recording system ideal for use in small CCTV monitoring installations or in networked surveillance systems - particularly for use inside banks.  The built-in motion detector for controlling picture recording and the extensive range of recording modes ensure efficient use of the hard disk capacity.  Its wide variety of settings enable the M-DMS 4 Bank to be configured perfectly for special applications in many different environments.  With an MPEG-4 high performance picture transmission option and above average picture recording this compact and powerful recorder successfully combines both technologies.

In addition the attractive compact design of the housing presents many mounting possibilities and its small size makes it well-suited for many different kinds of application in the security field.  For example, it is technically possible and visually acceptable to mount two recorders next to each other in a 19” rack to create a flexible, cost-effective 8 channel recorder.  Whether used as a stand alone device in the network or built in to other systems such as ATMs, the M-DMS 4 Bank can provide the means to realize many different kinds of applications.
