Arecont Vision Introduces Full HD 1080p Camera

Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, has introduced the new model AV2805, a full HD Mode 1080p camera providing full high-definition (HD) video with 1920x1080 pixels (2.07 megapixels) at 30 fps. The new model rounds out the industry's largest megapixel camera line and complements Arecont Vision's new AV10005 series of 10 megapixel/1080p dual mode cameras by offering a single standardized 1080p mode, along with otherwise similar features, at a more competitive price point.

Available in colour, day/night and colour auto-iris versions, the AV2805 offers selectable H.264 or MJPEG compression to best suit a wide range of applications. Users can digitally pan, tilt and zoom live with multiple zoom windows while recording the full field-of-view in full HD 1080p. Post-event forensic zooming is also possible from archives to extract recorded details.

Arecont Vision's line of cameras range in image resolution from 1.3 to 10 megapixels, including camera models that provide advanced capabilities such as dual sensor day/night capabilities and panoramic viewing. Using H.264 compression, Arecont Vision cameras provide outstanding compression efficiency to solve system issues related to bandwidth and storage.
