Safe And Secure Into The Future - Siemens’ Products With True IP Capability

Product Profile

Due to evolving customer and market requirements, Siemens remains at the leading edge of progress in IP development and continues to redefine current and future technologies:

  • IP cameras - hybrid and dual codec
  • IP fixed domes
  • SISTORE range of recording systems
  • SISTORE MX Hybrid (records both analog and IP cameras).
  • SISTORE MX NVR (network video recorder for IP cameras)
  • SISTORE MX NVS (network video software for IP cameras)

IP Cameras

  • CCIS1337 IP Camera
This true hybrid, super-high resolution, indoor camera can transmit video images either over an Ethernet network (and then displayed via a standard web browser) or using the standard traditional analog BNC connection.

  • Dual Codec IP Cameras
The range is reinforced by 3 IP cameras for ‘colour', ‘day-night' and ‘day-night with wide dynamic'.  These three offer the selection of codec between MPEG4 and MJPEG, while still being hybrid regarding video output.  Codec selection provides increased flexibility when buying the camera - there is no need to think about the recording system to connect.  It will work with PC and non PC based systems, plus it allows a system to be optimized according to image quality or bandwidth.

All IP cameras can be powered via the Ethernet cable (using Power over Ethernet).  Therefore the number of cables and installation effort can be reduced significantly.

IP fixed domes
The ten different aesthetically pleasing, fixed dome cameras allow for discreet around-the-clock surveillance of indoor and outdoor areas.  Basically they are analog, but when upgrading a system, migration from analog to digital is made possible through the easy and straightforward addition of an IP dome base.

SISTORE MX Hybrid DVR
Siemens offers different possibilities to record and control IP cameras, one of which is SISTORE MX - a flexible, hybrid video surveillance system.  Besides 32 IP cameras, SISTORE MX allows recording of up to 32 analog cameras.  A multitude of interfaces ensure SISTORE MX is easily integrated in the respective application and with other security systems, including the Siemens access control system SiPass Entro.

SISTORE MX NVS (Network Video Software)
The Siemens' software package allows the operator to view live images, as well as to support recording, playback and remote access for up to 32 IP cameras.  Highlights include:

  • integrated motion and sabotage detection
  • site plan for easy orientation
  • support of megapixel recording
  • full support of a variety of IP cameras and video servers from different manufacturers

Plus, SISTORE MX NVS fulfills the high requirements of the German Accident and Prevention Regulations for Banks (UVV-Kassen).

SISTORE MX NVR (Network Video Recorder)
When developing SISTORE MX NVR, Siemens' focus was on simple, clear controls and functional reliability in a compact form.  This network-based video recorder supports network monitoring and recording for up to 16 megapixel IP cameras (megapixel recordings contain more information - particularly useful when using the integrated zoom feature).  It also supports the connection of IP cameras from numerous other manufacturers.  And, SISTORE MX NVR features motion and sabotage detection and can be accessed remotely via the user-friendly RemoteView Software.
