The new EverFocus MPEG4 DVR generation was introduced at IFSEC 2005.  The main focus at the show was the new MPEG4 series 16-channel device EDR 1620, which offers the following features:
  • built-in MPEG4 compression / decompression with configurable video quality
  • variable recording speeds up to 200 IPS
  • duplex operation for recording and playback
  • data archiving via USB port
  • programmable motion detection area (16x12) for each channel
  • extended recording capacity via optional hard disk arrays
  • two hot swappable hard disks for internal storage
  • individual recording settings for each channel
  • on-screen menu operation with multi-language support
  • real time audio recording at any video recording speed
  • RS-232 and RS-485 interface for remote control
  • Ethernet interface for remote network viewing and control
  • Jog/Shuttle dial for picture-by-picture or fast/slow viewing
