Canon will be joined by Digital Barriers, Ipsotek, and Intelico to demonstrate their expertise in lens technology

Canon Europe, world-leader in imaging solutions, will be joined by solution providers Digital Barriers, Ipsotek, and Intelico, at IFSEC International (stand F500, London ExCel, 21-23 June) to demonstrate Canon’s expertise in lens technology and how this delivers best-in-class solutions for vertical industries. At the show, Canon will be showcasing its cameras’ low-light capabilities and will be strengthening its partner proposition with the launch of eight new cameras.

Meeting High Performance Monitoring Needs

Canon will demonstrate how its market-leading product range is suitable for a variety of different applications, aimed at solving the high-performance monitoring and surveillance needs from a range of industry sectors. This will include the recently announced high-sensitivity VB-M50B network camera, which delivers low light performance, particularly at the telephoto end, to provide clear and detailed images of distant objects. Solution providers at the Canon stand will also be showing the strength of their integrated solutions and highlighting joint capabilities in a wide variety of scenarios relevant to the latest industry demands and trends.

Julian Rutland, European NVS Marketing Director, Canon Europe comments, “The security market today is advancing at a pace that requires manufacturers and partners to become more agile to the changing demands of end-users. Canon is committed to delivering superior video quality and we are incredibly proud of our ability to provide best-in-class solutions that respond to the demands of different vertical market segments. IFSEC International provides us with a great opportunity to unveil eight new high-sensitivity network cameras designed to address the high-performance, low-light capabilities our partners and customers have been asking for.”

Eight New Cameras To Be Launched

The eight new Canon cameras being launched at IFSEC are ideal for indoor and outdoor environments, including critical infrastructure, transportation, city surveillance and government use. Standout features include wide angle of view, low light capabilities and faithful color reproduction, enabling detailed images to be captured across different lighting environments. Seamless integration with VMS platforms also provides business benefits beyond security, such as behavior analytics and site management.

Live working demonstration areas at the event will highlight Canon’s high quality image offering and its broad range of technology propositions, including:

  • Low light performance and Clear IR Mode with the Canon VB-M50B
  • Enhanced Digital Zoom capabilities
  • Smart Shade Control (SSC)
  • PTRZ remote camera configuration
  • Accurate color reproduction

A team of technical and channel development experts will be available on stand to meet with customers and system integrators and answer any questions.
