| Promise to exhibit Personal Cloud Appliances, Enterprise File Sync and Share Solutions and Hyperconverged Systems |
Data storage provider Promise Technology announced it is showcasing its complete line of cloud solutions at Cloud Expo Europe in London from April 12 – 13. Promise’s display will feature products to fit the specific needs of a range of customers, from easy to use consumer-based private cloud appliances to battle-tested EFSS solutions and hyper converged systems. Highlights of Promise’s display include a technology demonstration of its upcoming hyper converged system, VSkyCube, the European debut of Apollo – the company’s new personal Cloud appliance and app, and live demonstrations of the company’s Enterprise File Sync and Share solution,File Cruiserr.
Hyperconverged Systems
VSkyCube is a new generation of hyper converged systems, optimized for small and medium enterprises, that scales exceptionally well for large data centers as well. The VSkyCube uses a software-defined approach, combining tightly-coupled software-defined computing, storage, and networking in the form of hyper converged nodes. Together with a centralized single pane of glass management system, VSkyView, these technologies deliver a pre-integrated and adaptable cluster with a unified pool of resources that you can quickly deploy, adapt, scale, and manage.
Personal Cloud Appliance
Cloud Expo visitors will get their first look at Apollo which is a valuable asset for families, small businesses and home offices who need a safer and easier way to store, access and share the rapidly growing amount of photos, videos and files that are quickly taking up space on their devices. With Apollo, users have 4TB of storage space to manage, store and share their files both safely and privately between a group of up to 10 members. Apollo will be available for purchase soon exclusively at Apple stores worldwide.
Enterprise File Sync And Share
FileCruiser brings private cloud storage service to business in an all-in-one solution that combines hardware and software to enable anytime, anywhere data access. FileCruiser is an on-premise EFSS solution which offers users the convenience of mobile access but it keeps IT in control. Users can manage the entire system, including hardware and software configuration, eliminating the security concerns of confidential data in public services. FileCruiser can be deployed in a range of applications and markets, such as education, small to large enterprises, healthcare, government, design houses and many more.
