Sony is offering this replacement policy to all resellers as part of the Video Security Partner Programme
Sony will also launch the new three year warranty for all video security products

Ahead of IFSEC 2013, Sony has signaled its intention to mark a year of technical development milestones with an exciting new line up of end-to-end HD security products and services. Underlining Sony’s commitment to performance and quality, it will also be announcing the launch of a new three year warranty for all video security products purchased since April 1st 2013.

2012 saw a number of ground-breaking developments from Sony. These included the announcement of its award-winning IPELA Engine signal processing technology, the first ever line-up of IPELA Engine video security cameras, and the launch of the landmark Generation 6 (G6) range.

This momentum will be continued with a series of exciting developments set to be unveiled at the biggest security show of 2013. The G6 range will figure strongly in Sony’s event announcements, with the cameras still setting a new standard in video security, due to their ability to work under difficult conditions with improved sensitivity and the best wide dynamic range in the industry (View-DR).

"It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to speak face-to-face with our customers and discuss the challenges they are facing"

The new warranty represents an increase from one to three years, and will be supported with an industry-leading advance replacement service. Where an issue cannot be resolved by the PrimeSupport Helpdesk, Sony will arrange for a replacement unit to be shipped to an agreed address. Speed of service is a top priority, with same day dispatch being the target whenever an issue is diagnosed before 15:00 CET Monday to Friday.

Sony is offering this replacement policy to all resellers as part of the Video Security Partner Programme, which offers installers a range of benefits, including price discounts, training and technical support to help set them apart from the competition.

Any customers requiring replacement products should visit: http://www.sony.co.uk/pro/article/support-contact-1208 for more information about the new warranty and instructions for initiating the replacement process.

Ryan Kawashima, Strategic Marketing Manager for Sony Europe, commented: “Sony is coming back to Birmingham with a bang. IFSEC is always a great event and 2013 will be no exception. With the G6 continuing to lead the industry we’re confident customers will see considerable value in the developments we’ll be revealing. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for us to speak face-to-face with our customers and discuss the challenges they are facing, so please do visit us at booth 4/J10, to see the future of security for yourself.”
