 Pelco's Endura IP video surveillance system will support Panasonic's i-Pro network cameras

Panasonic and Pelco announced that Pelco's latest version of the Endura IP video surveillance system (v2.1) will support select Panasonic i-Pro Series network cameras. Pelco was demonstrating Panasonic i-Pro network cameras operating on the Endura v2.1 platform  at ASIS 2009.


According to Mike Maddox, Panasonic Solution Developer Network (PSDN) Program Manager: "Pelco is an important member of our PSDN Program, and this recently established interoperability is a clear example of both companies' commitment to openness, collaboration, and to providing customers with choices and the flexibility they want."

Panasonic i-Pro Series network cameras compatible with Pelco's Endura system include: the WV-NS954, WV-NW964, and WV-NS202A Super Dynamic PTZ Dome Cameras; the WV-NW484S Super Dynamic Vandal Resistant Fixed Dome Camera; the WV-NF302 and WV-NF284 Fixed Dome Cameras; the WV-NP304 Megapixel Box Camera; and the WV-NP244 Box Camera.

Initial support for the Panasonic i-Pro network cameras on the Endura platform will include MPEG-4 support for live video monitoring, recording, playback, and pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera control. Enhancements for additional functionalities, and support for the latest Panasonic H.264 Megapixel i-Pro network cameras (WV-NP502 and WVNW502S) are expected in future releases.
