The company will be demonstrating at its "Innovation By Design" stand

Multitone, a specialist in the design, manufacture and implementation of integrated communication systems, has announced it will be attending the British APCO Show on 29th and 30th April 2013 at Manchester Central. On its “Innovation By Design” stand G28, the company will be demonstrating how a number of smart technologies including Multitone’s FireCoder, two-way pagers, touch screen tablets and smart phones can be integrated into existing communications infrastructure providing robust and reliable essential communications for the emergency services.

Emergency Services Sales Manager at Multitone, Jim Lanyon, comments, “Our key strength is understanding critical delivery of communications, working closely with our customers to deliver robust systems that can be relied upon. The world of communications technology is evolving rapidly and organizations are feeling the pressure to adopt the latest technologies such as smart phones, touch screen tablets and Wi-Fi devices to improve vital communications. British APCO 2013 is a key event for Multitone, to showcase how integration of the new smart technologies can be integrated into existing platforms to provide the best in emergency communications.”

At the heart of the integration is its flagship product, Multitone i-Message. It fully consolidates existing emergency service communications and data systems to offer a highly intuitive and usable, flexible, cost-effective and infinitely upgradable connectivity solution. i-Message provides users with access to greater control over the functionality of communications systems, with high visibility and clarity of use - which are essential for auditing purposes.

Multitone i-Message also offers greater visibility of communications, ensuring that communications are only sent to those who are available. Users are fully aware of the status of a message - for example, that it has been delivered and acknowledged and situations are escalated where responses are not received. i-Message also specializes in offering a high degree of connectivity between different systems including telephones, smart phones and cellphone devices and even building control systems such as CCTV, fire, equipment and burglar alarms.

Visitors to Stand G28 can see demonstrations of how existing communication devices including touch screen tablets, smart phones and two way pagers can be integrated within an existing communications structure using Multitone’s products.
