| Axis presented Milestone Systems Australia with the 2013 Collaborative Ecosystem Partner of the Year Award |
From August 19-21, the second annual Milestone Partner Open Platform (MPOP) Days 2014 were held in Gold Coast, Australia. With double the number of participants, as well as exhibiting partners, the event was a great example of the open platform community coming together to share knowledge.
For the first time, key Milestone end-users joined the event to help attendees gain an understanding of the benefits that open platform video management software and a wide partner network have to offer.
Country Sales Manager, Angelo Salvatore, adds, “From a personal experience, I remember looking around the room during the technology showcase and there was a real buzz of conversations actively in progress. It was at this time I realized I was watching something quite unique. It was unique in the sense that the MPOP had brought together so many different stakeholders within the industry, from integrators to customers to competitors and vendors, all of which displayed a tireless passion and excitement for the IP surveillance industry which we are all a part of.”
Another event highlight took place during the Gala Dinner when Trevor Westhead from Axis Communications presented Milestone Systems Australia with a special award for Collaborative Ecosystem Partner of the Year Award – 2013. Milestone Australia is humbled by this award and looks forward to continued collaboration with Axis Communications.
