The presentation at IP-in-Action LIVE 2013 will focus on demystifying ONVIF, an organization which is primarily focused on developing an open global standard to ensure interoperability (the new buzz-word for integration) between network video products regardless of manufacturer.

It will explore why standards matter to the industry, what ONVIF stands for. It will examine the situation of integration and interoperability. It will assess the benefits of ONVIF and the difference it will make to end users, system integrators and security consultants on a global basis. Finally it will explore the future of ONVIF.

Speaker bio: Andrew is responsible for the Sales department at this UK SME CCTV manufacturer, including motivating the small sales team and coordinating with the engineering team for site visits. He is part of the Meyertech executive team which meets every two weeks to report on the business, make business decisions and plan future strategy. Andrew has  been with Meyertech since 2004, prior to this he was BDO at Merit Lilin and Technical Sales Engineer at Mark Mercer Electronics. Andrew's expertise includes: Security Applicatiions, CCTV and IP Camera Technology, Video over IP, Access Control - he also has experiece in Sales and Account Management.
