LILIN Launches IP Hybrid Network Digital Recorder

With an astonishing amount of development work undertaken at LILIN this year, the launch of a new Hybrid Network Digital Recorder at IFSEC 2010 proved extremely popular to the numerous visitors to the LILIN stand, with the NDR Series certainly one of the highlights of the exhibition.

There has certainly been a lot of consideration put into the design and functionality of this hybrid solution. A combination of high performance IP recording in a familiar appliance based product, the NDR Series is an entirely new solution that provides a building block approach to system design and expansion.

Installers and users of LILIN DVR's will find many familiar functions as the menu structure is based on previous products. The NDR's can be controlled by the front panel buttons, IR remote control and the PIH-931D Keyboard. Certain functions such as live video and playback can be accessed across a network using Internet Explorer or LILIN's own NVR software, supplied free with the unit.

The NDR Series is very simple to use and benefits from a number of intuitive, unique features. For example, LILIN's system architecture allows NDR's to be positioned anywhere on the network for a distributed recording architecture, yet any NDR can display and record any IP camera on the system and even playback recordings from another NDR. H.264 compression enables real-time recording and display at D1 resolutions, with SVGA, composite and HDMI outputs.
