New Dallmeier IR Cameras: DF4900HD-DN/IR And DF4950HD-DN/IR

Product Profile

Dallmeier expands its portfolio of high-resolution HD surveillance cameras by infrared cameras: the DF4900HD-DN/IR and DF4950HD-DN/IR.

Outstanding image quality - also at night

Dallmeier IR cameras are high-resolution HD cameras. Owing to a unique and novel IR lighting concept they provide outstanding images, also at night. Although the cameras feature integrated high-performance lighting, they only require a PoE supply class 0 (IEEE 802.3af). This is achieved through the very high efficiency factor of the IR-LEDs.

Novel IR lighting

What is so special about the new IR lighting concept of the Dallmeier IR cameras?

Most conventional IR cameras use many small LEDs, arranged circularly around the lens. In contrast, the Dallmeier DF4900HD-DN/IR and the Dallmeier DF4950HD-DN/IR use three large high-performance light-emitting diodes. The Dallmeier IR cameras thus achieve a very high irradiation output, which means that even at a distance of 25 m details are still clearly recognizable. Additionally, integrated collimators provide for a highly even and homogenous illumination. They ensure that the marginal areas of an image are sufficiently illuminated - which is a huge challenge for conventional IR cameras. So the Dallmeier IR cameras feature two important advantages: a high irradiation output and a homogenous illumination of boundary areas.

The irradiation output is individually adjustable in three levels: low, medium and high. The light-emitting diodes distinguish themselves by their long lifespan, they only show low self-heating and, particularly important, work with constant performance during the whole lifespan.

Best image quality with Cam_inPIX® technology

Dallmeier IR cameras convince with their outstanding image quality, as they are equipped with innovative Cam_inPIX® technology. This Dallmeier developed Image Processing Technology allows for the recording of clear, high contrast and true colour images even in difficult lighting conditions. In order to achieve this, the picture information of each individual pixel is converted digitally at the point of capture and processed in the most optimal way. Digital nose reduction (DNR) as well as numerous control functions like AWB, AGC and Slow Shutter make it possible to optimize the image quality even further. Like all Dallmeier IP cameras the IR cameras are ONVIF compliant.
