All Orbiter Gold VIP Microsphere models feature three possible methods of video transmission:
  • composite video via coaxial cabling
  • NVT based CAT 5 composite video transmission
  • and now Ethernet based digital video transmission is also available

Ethernet transmission is provided by state-of-the-art video compression technology, allowing excellent performance, whilst using minimal network bandwidth.  IP Multicasting helps to achieve this, providing a single video stream which allows any number of clients to connect to it.  The bandwidth of the multicast stream can also be capped to a specified capacity.  Client viewing and administration software are provided free of charge with all Orbiter Gold VIP Microspheres.  Additional features include
  • 18x, 22x, 23x and 27x zoom options
  • Virtually unlimited network clients
