A year after its launch, PSA Security Network’s National Deployment Program is creating new opportunities to enable local integrators to have a shot at getting business from large companies with a nationwide footprint. Collectively, PSA Security Network’s some 250 electronic security systems integrators are responsible for more than $2 billion in annual security systems design, installation, integration and maintenance business related to access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire, and life safety systems.

The National Deployment Program, which has its own funding and full-time staff, has created an Oracle database providing information about the resources and qualifications of PSA’s 250 member integrators and their 600 offices throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Information in the database includes which product lines each integrator and/or location is certified in. The program consists of a network of certified PSA security integrators who are vetted against 120 different qualification criteria and listed in the repository database with mapping capabilities.

Using the database, a large company (or integrator or consultant for a large company) can see easily which integrators are available that have the resources to fulfill the requirements of a large job whose scope extends beyond the end user’s or primary integrator’s local area.

As a large buying cooperative, PSA Security Network represents a lot of physical security integration resources, including brick and mortar and “feet on the ground.” These local integrators easily have the capabilities to address the needs of any size end user enterprise or system scope. By providing a centralized repository of information on that wide range of capabilities, PSA Security Network is opening doors to additional business for its member companies.

Manufacturers, customers, or end-users can contact PSA Security Network to submit a profile of national deployment opportunities, and PSA will provide a list of highly qualified PSA security integrators matching specific project requirements.
