The event features expert speakers including Tony Lloyd, Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester

Exhibition space is now available to book for Manchester’s leading security exhibition and conference, which continues to grow from strength to strength as the event celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

Organized by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) in partnership with the Manchester City Center Crime Prevention Panel and Greater Manchester Police, Manchester Security 2014 has become a must-attend for the North West’s wider business community, with attendees previously including major retailers, local authorities and entertainment venues.

Free to attend for delegates, the event, sponsored by Associated Security Solutions Ltd, will take place at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester city center on Thursday 6th March, and features a range of expert speakers including Tony Lloyd, Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester, speaking about his role and its links with local businesses.

Also speaking will be Chief Superintendent Nick Adderley, of Greater Manchester Police, discussing the challenges and changes facing the Greater Manchester force, and Maxine Fraser, National Operations Director of Retailers Against Crime, providing an overview of the organization’s successes in reducing crime through partnership working.

Last year’s event attracted a record number of over 200 delegates, with attendees including representatives of well-known city-center retailers Primark, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Urban Outfitters, as well as other organizations including insurers, healthcare practitioners and local authorities. In a post-event survey, 95% of respondents felt that participating in the exhibition represented value for money for their business, while rating the quality of attendees as good / excellent.

For security companies wishing to showcase their products and services to a range of North-West based businesses, as well as representatives from local Police forces, stand space is available from £695 + VAT.
