BSIA members will showcase a range of products including access control systems at Security Essen 2010
Members of the British Security Industry Association's Export Council have given an exclusive preview of what visitors can expect to see at this year's Security Essen exhibition, which takes place from 5 - 8 October.

As the trade association representing the UK's private security industry, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and its dedicated Export Council play a vital role in forging productive trade links between UK security companies and overseas buyers from around the world. This year's Security Essen will be no exception, with the BSIA and many of its members on hand to provide advice and guidance on the latest products and services that the UK has to offer.

"With UK security exports growing steadily year-on-year, creating and maintaining links with overseas buyers and distributors is essential to our industry," comments Caroline Strickley, Export Services Executive at the BSIA. "Security Essen is a key date in our calendar, providing an opportunity for our members to engage with these audiences and position the UK as a leading force in global security provision."

Members of the BSIA's Export Council will be showcasing a range of products and services at this year's event, including award-winning Access Control systems, forensic property marking products and market-leading Critical National Infrastructure Intrusion Detection systems.

Security 2010 provides an opportunity to position the UK as a leading force in global security provision

Andrew Knights, Managing Director of Selectamark, a BSIA Export Council member, comments: "Security Essen will provide Selectamark with an excellent opportunity to build upon the existing relationships we have with consumers and distributors across Germany and present the successful results that these relationships have achieved over the past year. We will also be looking to recruit additional distributors to complement our rapidly expanding distribution network."

Tom Sharrard, European Sales Manager at IDL, adds: "IDL will be launching its newest access control product, Fastlane® Glassgate 250, at Essen 2010. This state-of-the-art pedestrian speedgate combines infrared detection sensors with glass barriers and will be showcased alongside a range of our existing products which will be available for delegates to test."

John Davies, Managing Director of TDSi, concludes: "Security Essen is the perfect place for TDSi to demonstrate our award-winning line of access control systems and biometric readers, along with Vugarde, an Enterprise level networked video recorder capable of recording up to 32 streams of IP video."

With the stringent checks that the BSIA conducts on its members, overseas customers can rest assured that they will receive only the best service, despite being located in a different country, with the BSIA Export Council an ideal first port of call for anybody interested in developing a relationship with a UK company, either as a customer or distributor.
